70°, overcast and sprinkling, 90% humidity with 7 mph winds out of the south. Nice for walking because the light rain felt good but I never really got wet. Mother Nature has told her tree children to prepare for winter. Not with the turning of the leaves. We don't have "color" yet. However, every tree in the neighborhood is inviting it's acorns, pine cones and seedpods to dive from their branches and bombard what ever is below. The sky may not have been raining much, but the deluge coming from the trees was impossible to avoid. Everywhere I went it sounded like something was charging out of the green belts. I kept jerking my head from side to side, behind and forward again, trying to see who or what was following me, stalking me or contemplating me as a potential breakfast. Now I gotta crick in me neck! Adrenaline jolts aside it was still a nice walk. Got a mushroom picture for ya. Two actually. First up, another double fungi-
