Three stars were winking at me thru the cloud cover this morning. Trying to catch all three uncovered by clouds and in the same picture was getting irritating. Alas, the photographic evidence leaves something to be desired but here it is anyway.
Right. Nothing but black. So it's definitely one of those "you must see it for yourself" deals. Gimme 30 minutes. The stars will be gone, but we'll see about that beautiful blue.

Got distracted and missed the predawn blue No surprise there. But I didn't miss the pretty morning. There was a Cardinal singing his heart out in one of the trees across the street. Weather! Almost forgot the weather. 38° and I was chilled. Must be the 6 mph winds. 70% humidity and they're saying fair skies but really, seriously
