The WIP has never been a very good illustrator of the current weather. Except, perhaps, during a snowstorm. This mornings picture shows a beautiful green day, like most spring and summer and some autumn days. It certainly is. Green and beautiful, I mean. Started raining the second I stepped out. I haven't been keeping track but it seems to me we are seriously behind in the rainfall totals this summer. Wonder if drought conditions are in effect...
IT'S GOOGLE TIME!!
No... according to the Weather Channel we aren't in drought but we are "abnormally dry". I guess that's better than drought, right?
The current weather breakfast conditions served up by Mother Nature in this neck of the woods ... well, update already, will ya?... alrighty then, while we are waiting for the updates, OBACE will give you it's climate evaluation. Cloudy skies and rain (yer right, a bit redundant as rain rarely occurs without clouds) a temp somewhere in the low to mid 60's (OBACE is only capable of an approximate), winds at... hmmm... best guess would be 5 mph and humidity is a mystery since OBACE, as I have mentioned before, has no equipment to measure humidity other than "wow, is it muggy" or "wow, is my skin dry." Since neither the MUGGY or the DRY indicators have engaged, it is NOT muggy or dry out. :)
HEY! We have liftoff! The wee-gee's have updated. 61°, 78% humidity, 3 mph winds and light rain. Personally, I'm impressed. OBACE was in the ballpark, so to speak.
Have a glorious day, Travelers, because you deserve nothing less!!
