Big Bug!
What looked like a small piece of the driveway that suddenly grew legs and bolted for the shrubs turned out to be this huge beetle. You know what this means, right?
IT'S GOOGLE TIME!

A borer beetle... maybe... AH-HA! A Broad Necked Root Borer! That's what he is. Bad for fruit trees. But an interesting visitor, once I got over the oogie factor. He disappeared into the shrubs by the driveway. Not before I managed a slightly out of focus portrait. Can't take a clear picture to save my life anymore. Clear enuf to ID him tho!! I'm happy.
