Good morning, Travelers.
I'm not only ready for work, I'm breakfasted, morning mused and trying desperately to come up with something to say. That's the whole reason for the weather report. We can always, safely, speak of the weather.
Along with the 90% humidity, calm winds and fair skies, it is 55° on the Front Porch this morning. Felt wonderfully good out there. So sayeth my sense of touch. My taste was gently waken by a bowl of tomato basil soup to which I added a chopped up hamburger patty, diced onions and tomatoes. The Buds liked it, to my surprise. Then and only then did I take a sip of coffee. The Buds were accepting of the proffered fluid, but still, just the thought of Pepsi tingled their taste receptors. So sayeth my sense of taste.
There was a fragrant odor that permeated the air. I'm not so good at identifying odors. But I'm thinking maybe it was the mums on the Porch. So thinketh my sense of smell.
There's RED in them thar trees. Autumn is creeping in, slowly but surely. It's a beautiful thing to see, the changing of the seasons. So believeth my sense of sight.
As for my sense of hearing, I was regaled with the boisterous sounds of what must have been a dozen or more Chippys barking, yipping and chattering from every conceivable direction. From under the Porch and up in the trees. Across the street and from the M Woods. In the back yard and from under the cars in the driveway. Talk about surround sound! It was quite the delightful chorus and brought a smile to my face. For about 60 seconds. For some reason my sense of irritation was stirring in it's sleep. That's not my usual response to such stimuli. So, I retreated to the quiet of the house. I prefer it when that particular sense stays asleep. Life is so much sweeter that way. So sayeth command center. :)
May your sense of wonder be always awake and your sense of irritation sleep peacefully on.
Have a good day, Travelers, cus I'm thinking they're the best kind to have!
And may Love and Happiness be yours, always.
