Partly cloudy!? I see no clouds in the WIP! I did a complete 360 and saw ZERO clouds in the sky. I must confess that the sky I can actually see from the Front Porch is rather scant. Must keep my uvula mute and tethered. I will say, 8° combined with the pants I decided to wear this morning sent me bolting back into the house after just one WIP. My pants are still cold! Whadda they made of?...100% Supima cotton? What in the world is Supima cotton?... Supima, a name derived from SUperior PIMA. A non-profit U.S. organization whose main objective is to promote the world wide use of American Pima cotton, with involvement in quality assurance and research. Gotcha. This research, does it involve GMO? Probably a given. I dunno. Well, what I do know, from personal experience, is that this pair of Supima cotton pants holds body heat for about 1 tenth of a second in 8° weather...
oooo! the crows are here for their goodies!!

They came they ate they ran. Or is that flew? Doesn't matter. Their 5 minute visits are just fine in my book. Makes me think of Mama and Daddy. Mama, she of the hours long visits. Hours. With an s. When she visited it was for hours. I loved her visits. If I had nothing to say, which was often, she would fill the silence with her beautiful voice. I miss Mama and her sharing her thoughts on the current events in her life and the worlds. Then there was my Daddy. He of the 5 minute visits. He would breeze in unannounced, give me a hug, and at the same time ask if I had coffee. I would make a cup for him while we chatted about "stuff". He would then drink his coffee, and enjoy it, while I wondered how he didn't scald his 'swallerpipe'. He loved his coffee, even if it was instant, which I kept on hand just for him. Then, he would give me a hug goodbye, and breeze back out the door. I miss my Daddy. I loved his visits ever bit as much as I loved Mama's.
May your life be filled with visits from loved ones! And may those visits be treasured, be they hours or 5 minutes.
