The weather confuses me. Why can I go out into this mornings 35°, spend 30 minutes moseying around the yard, take 80 pictures and 2 videos before my fingers get cold? Yesterday the temp was 43° and I took 11 pictures and my fingers froze in 5 minutes. My head is threatening me with an ache if I don't stop pondering it RIGHT NOW. It was breezy yesterday. As I recall it felt rather good. Except for my fingers. We're done here! Moving on. I feel I must share, I admit I have no clue why, that the plucking of ones nose hairs can be a startlingly PAINFUL experience. One can go weeks, even months without any pain worth noting, other than the slight sting one comes to expect with such a grooming procedure. Then, out of the blue, the grasping, yanking and removing of one particularly, innocuous looking hair generates an agony so severe as to produce a howl that any wolf in the area would have been moved to answer! An Academy Award worthy vocalization, followed immediately by several minutes of loud panting, unsightly gasping, and completely worthless dancing about, all in a vain attempt to outrun the pain! That was me. Yesterday. The entire circumference of my face tried to compress down into the size of a quarter. At the same time, both eyes decided to open the flood gates, releasing their entire reserve of tears. This deluge easily managed to squeeze thru the folds of flesh compacted around what used to be my face. Then came the SNEEZES. Oh yeah. No less than half a dozen explosive sneezes detonated from a deeply buried nose. With each loud and vulgar sounding sneeze, I was uncontrollably propelled backwards around the bathroom. I imagine I might have looked and sounded much like an inflated balloon whose neck is released untied. This painful series of explosions manage to put my face back to rights. I suppose I should be grateful for that. All this for vanity's sake!? *heavy sigh* Yep. Next week I'll be plucking again. *heavy sigh*
I had a visitor this morning! He posed for a picture, too! My camera tried it's crippled best to capture this lovely visitors good side.
I got the 'LOOK' for a bit, before I was judged harmless enough to ignore.
May all your visitors be as delightful as Downy!
Love and Happiness to you, my Fellow Travelers!
Check out the fungus I found growing in the M Woods this morning!
