My WIP cannot illustrate the weather very well. It's too dark. So, a verbal description is called for. It is currently 35° with 89% humidity, calm winds and fair skies. Too dark for me to see if I'm being lied to by the We-Guessers. The senses were awake this morning! My eyes were dazzled by many car headlights as several people left for work, a blinking red headlamp worn by a gentleman out for a walk in the dark with his dog and several leaves as they floated softly to the ground, silhouetted in the street light. My ears noticed the soft sound of leaves hitting the ground, car engines starting up and fading off in the distance and the quiet peace in between. My body felt the wonderful and refreshing 35°, as well as a faint breeze gently lifting the hair on my head and that crispness in the air that you only feel in Autumn. My nose smelled the fragrance of fallen leaves, wood smoke, exhaust,
skunk and coffee. And my taste buds tried to spit out the coffee I gave them while simultaneously sending the same message they have been sending to my brain for the last 2 decades, "WHY!?" Ya ever notice how French Roast coffee and skunk smell
similar? Makes me throw the squinty-eye at my bag of coffee. It was dark, but not gloomy on the Front Porch, cool but not cold, full of sound but not noisy and fragrant, not stinky. My taste buds are feeling particularly left out. We must fix that! Breakfast! May your senses awake and be delighted all day long, Travelers. The Universe holds much for them! LIVE well LAUGH often and LOVE much!
Leaf picture! I could see the shapes of leaves on the Porch so I aimed my camera, turned on the flash and hoped for the best.
Not bad for a guess in the dark, huh!?
The humidity in the air! I love it when the camera catches that!
Yesterday. Crow was patiently waiting for me to toss a cracker.
Ok, enuf already! My taste buds are waiting for their turn to be dazzled!
