Tax Return Time Means New Camera

It's after 5 am, breakfast has been breakfasted, shower has been showered and the shirt sleeves and pants have been adorned. Phone says there is Light Snow/Fog/Mist out on the Front Porch at this very moment. Well then. We must go see, Camera, Phone and I. But before doing so, what else might we expect? 33° of warm, they say? 100% humidity? 3 mph breezes? Hmmm... the temp is expected to fall today to a high of 27. :) That sounds funny. It's 33° and we can expect the high temp of the day to fall to 27.
...Sneezing much!... Enough already!... I'm sneezing so much I've started to count them. I'm up to 8... make that 9. My tissue box is dwindling fast. Anyway back to the weather... runny nose much! I'm watching my tissue box empty rapidly... Better not be coming down with something... On with the weather report... now I'm confused. We're to expect a high of 27 even tho, right now, we have a temp of 33. BUT, they predict the temperature will fall throughout the day to 17° by 5 pm.
????SAY WHAT????
:)
I have a confession to make. I love the Weather Guessers. Checking the weather has become a morning ritual I look forward to. And being confused, surprised and delighted by the predictions brings a smile to my face. Can you think of a better gift from someone than that which brings a smile?
Snow then Sunny. That's what they say. Snow then Sunny. That's word for word. The last of the days weather report says we are to expect snowfall till around noon, at which time the day should turn Sunny with a Northwest wind of 10 to 15 mph. Though a WIP will be all but impossible... well, not really, when I think on it... even a totally black picture, because of the lack of light, is still a WIP for that moment, right?, any way, impossible or not, it's time to step outside.
...
We didn't visit long. It was definitely warm enough for an extended visit, but it was snowing, just as the WeeGees promised. HOWEVER, it is certainly NOT a Light Snow, you WeeGees, you! It's a heavy wet snow. Snow that's having no problem making everything it lands on very wet, very rapidly. And, as I am relatively certain that exposure to similar conditions is what led to Camera's ultimate demise, I wish NOT to condemn phone to the same fate. I, on the other hand, am not made of salt. I don't melt when wet. But two votes wins against one.
Here is Camera's valiant attempt to provide a WIP this morning-
Have a great day Travelers.
Decent WIP's may be on hold for just a while.
But tax return time means NEW CAMERA!!
:)
