7:05 am. It snowed last night. A nice wake up to a beautiful winter wonderland. Hang on... Camera threw me off. Took me way too long to figure out that the time disparity confusing my body clock with regards to the time stamped on the pictures was from Samcam being on spring time, not autumn time. Samcam has been in the Camera bag for a long time. ...Samcam... I like it. Who else do I have? ... :) COOL! :) I no longer have 2 of my cameras. The ones I have abused into retirement, but still treasure and keep in my cambag, total 4. Samcam is technically Camera #5 (my fav so far but don't tell the others. Might hurt their feelings.) Then, I have #6- Pancam :), #4- Soncam :) and last but not least, #3 Cancam :). Oh yeah! That WORKS!! Cameras have officially been named!
9:08 am. Time to move some snow. What a difference 2 hours makes in the lighting. Samcam likes light. Well, that kinda goes without saying. ALL cameras like light.
The ground is still very slippery. L came in from the snow moving mission and said he "took a digger out there." His shin is sportin' a monstrous sized contusion as a result. L, honey, I think you're gonna feel that one in the morning.
Me and my 'Ice Traction Slip-ons' were definitely willing to give shoveling a go. But all we managed to clear was the Front Porch before my face informed me it had had enough. Specifically my left sinuses. That or the broken bone. Or both. They are protesting the cold air with a great deal of discomfort. So much so that, had they a voice, the royal cussing-out aimed at me for treating them in such a careless manner, would still be in progress. A most decidedly inconvenient chapter in the continuing saga of Brokenface.

10:39 am. The trees are losing their snowcoats. The wind is cleaning off the branches fast. At times, it looks like it's snowing in the sunshine. Purdy purdy purdy. S made us breakfast. A delicious breakfast, I might add. Superb ham and cheese omelet with toast and a most delicious plum jam. Can't get any better than that!!
1:19 pm. The trees are pretty much bare now. "Time keeps on slippin' slippin' slippin ..." I have no explanation how The Steve Miller Band fits into all this. I'm just doing the typing. I gotta go to the store. Shopping for detergent is NOT a fun time. It's a chore. One that has me seriously contemplating my laundry situation. Do I really need to do laundry today? Or, can it wait until tomorrow? Better yet, do I even need detergent to wash my clothes? Probably be much more environmentally friendly to do away with detergent altogether and find an alternative. *heavy sigh* Yes, I know. Why put off today... yada yada yada.
*Humphf*
To the store, then.
*Double humphf*
I'm not even a Steve Miller fan.
?
3:03 pm. If I hadn't seen the snow falling early this morning, or the trees covered with the stuff when visiting the Front Porch, I would never believe that it snowed last night. I gotta get a load of laundry going. Otherwise I dragged my self outta the house for no good reason.
5:29 pm. Twilight is upon us and I realize I never reported the weather. WHAT was I thinking? Currently we are enjoying 36° of fair skies, with 57% humidity and 5 mph winds. It stopped snowing sometime before 9 am, the skies cleared by 10 am and stayed fair the rest of the day. The winds peaked at 6 mph and the temperature reached a high of 40°. A very nice, mild winter day.
May the rest of your day be wonderful, and your dreams tonight be sweet.
Love and Happiness be yours!
Time to dry some clothes...
