Confused Robin

Good morning! The Front Porch was quite busy this morning during my stay. Mother Nature has served up a sunny 78° with a savory 54% humidity and a sweet 7 mph wind. Sunny, Savory and Sweet! I like it!!  But before I was even out the door I had a visitor. I was somewhat disappointed he didn't linger for a picture. There he was, a pterosaur of huge proportions, just hanging out on the glass waiting for his morning repast. Storm doors are a wonderful thing. Neener neener neener!! You missed me! Blasted bug. Once I was sure he went elsewhere for his breakfast I stepped out to a delightful morning. For a brief moment. Another smaller species of pterosaur decided he would attempt to make a meal of me by bouncing off my face then shooting straight down my shirt! I think I exercised great restraint and control when I didn't throw camera, coffee and phone during this attack. I didn't spill a single drop defending myself! After that, the bugs left me alone. I got to enjoy watching a mourning dove flit from tree to tree, a butterfly taking an extremely long route from one side of the yard to the other and several leaves float and dance their way to the ground. My personal favorite however, was the Confused Robin featured in this mornings weather picture. Bless his little heart if he didn't see fit to attack his own reflection in the back window of L's truck. Over and over again. I wonder how he felt when he finally gave up. I've got two more pictures of the entertaining little fella. They are of poor quality but they must be shared. First, here he is engaged in furious battle,
And here he is, totally confused and exhausted after the battle. Perhaps he was wondering "Where'd he go?!??"
I love that Robin! He made my morning!! May you be blessed with many entertaining and delightful encounters on your journeys, my Fellow Travelers!!
