Another gorgeous morning on the Front Porch. 66°, 93% humidity, calm winds and... ehhh.. okay, overcast, I guess. I would have gone with mostly cloudy. I mean, there's some beautiful blue peeking thru the clouds. OBACE is in no mood to argue.
Hummers!
We have a feeder war going on between two hummers.
First up, Chartreuse.
She, as I believe they are both female, is the self proclaimed owner and pugnacious defender of the feeder.
Then we have Khaki.
She buzzed in for a quick drink, vocalizing the entire time she sipped at the feeder, anticipating the return of Chartreuse. Which didn't take long because Khaki hasn't learned the fine art of stealth. She did manage a couple of quick sips before her skittish chirping gave her away. Chartreuse shot in like a bullet and off they went.
