Maybe I'll remember tonight when I get home. Then again maybe not. Doing this is gonna be harder than I thought.

Dark Mornings Coming

Getting dark in the mornings now.
Working on the WIP. Trying to come up with a... I'm such a liar!! I haven't given any thought at all as to how to improve the Weather Illustration Picture. Not one iota of effort. I get up and go to work. I come home stuff my face with whatever food is handy and does not need preparation and go to bed.
Work Eat Sleep
hmmmm...

Perhaps one day I will go into the details of the "Kiss Wes's Ass" family joke.
But I ain't got time this morning.

A Night Time Post

Was throwing myself into bed when I remembered I hadn't posted the weather today. Or anything else for that matter. This will be quick. My bed beckons.
The current weather conditions are:
A Few Clouds...
I love that description. Not partly cloudy, but "a few clouds."
57° or 14° for a Celsius temp. If I type both, maybe I'll learn Celsius.
87% Humidity
SW winds at 9 mph
Tonight's forecast"
Mostly Cloudy
Low around 54°
S winds around 10 mph with gusts up tp 20mph
As I left for work this morning the moon and a gorgeous tree in the neighbors yard screamed "Take our picture!" So I took the picture. The moon was so beautiful but the phone couldn't capture a decent image.
Can't even see the moon in this pic.
So I zoomed in-
I still can't see it!
It WAS there, it really was!
Have a great night with sweet dreams, Travelers.

It's Not Sunday Anymore

It's Sunday. My weekend. Today and tomorrow off. As much as I like my job, it wears me out and I look forward to not having to work. Now if I could only find some energy, motivation, creativity, anything to make my weekends feel some how productive. Here it comes:
*heavy sigh*
I am not under the sword to get this post out as I have all day to do it. That's a nice thing. No stress. I admit that I try to avoid stress.
Oh! I watched a Youtube video that attempted to define exactly what an introvert is. It's a video blog, hosted by Daniel who, I believe, is a British man that transplanted himself to Ireland. His channel is 'Mossy Bottom'. I've only watched a couple of his videos so I can't say yet whether or not it is a good channel. But I liked his definition of what an introvert is. And I'm outta time so I will continue, I hope, later. Have a good day, my wonderful fellow travelers!
...
Well, it's not Sunday anymore. I totally spaced it yesterday and failed to continue with this entry.
Tired.
That word has slipped into the number one spot on my "Describe Yourself in Twenty Words or Less" list. I just got up and here I sit, one hand typing and the other supporting my head so it doesn't smash into the keyboard when I nod off.
*heavy sigh*
I took several pictures yesterday of some Canada Geese resting for a bit on their journey south. They are beautiful birds. My pictures do them no justice.

Weather! Almost forgot the weather. Can't have that. Sad to say, but it's the most interesting part of these posts.
Currently the WeeGee's, not to be confused with the BeeGee's, one of my most fav groups. I'm glad I'm old enough to say that without feeling the need to defend myself when I get laughed at because I love the BeeGee's.
Anyway, the WeeGee's say we are currently enjoying:
48°
Overcast skies
93% humidity
and
Calm winds
As for the forecast today, we are told to expect:
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64°, 5 mph winds out of the North this morning then from the South this afternoon.
Here's a WIP for ya.
I still haven't applied any braincells towards solving the boringness of the WIP's.
Too
-all together now-
TIRED.
Haven't figured out the cure for that yet.
Except maybe retirement.
That ain't ever gonna happen.

Last Minute Again

Keep forgetting about this. It's hard trying to get into a new routine or develop a new habit. But I just had a thought! Another alarm! I have set so many alarms on my phone that it truly is an alarm clock more than it is a phone. Works fer me.
Got nuttin' in the memory stores. Should have, there is ALWAYS something, but my memory file cabinet seems to have developed a black hole. Anything filed there gets sucked in never to be seen again.
I had forgotten how many times my fat fingers make me correct what i'M trying to wite. I going to leave those tewo, now three typo's, as they are just to give you some idea of how often I have to backtrack and correct. Oh! There it was. The *heavy sigh* :)
Current weather is as follows:
A Few Clouds- I love that... Not partly cloudy mind you. Rather, a few clouds. :)
38° - that's 2° Celsius
93% humidity
Calm Winds out of the NESW... kidding :)
Forecast is Sunny with a high of 62°
Sounds like a nice day.
Now for a WIP. Let's see what I can do about the boring factor when it comes to the WIP.

My imagination refused to step outside this morning so I just took a pic in the other direction. Maybe tomorrow...
May all you days be splewndid... really. You see what I have to deal with when my fingers have control of the keybaord... keyboard.

A Fellow Heavy Sigher

Good morning. It is currently 5:43 am. I got 45 minutes to make this post which would have been great, if I had something to say!
*heavy sigh*
WAIT! I might have something to say!
Speaking of heavy sighs, there is a man at work who heavy sighs constantly. Yesterday, I called him out on it. As I walked by him, on my way to the sales floor to put out some freshly hung and priced women's clothing, he let forth with a loud heavy sigh. Since I had heard and remembered... remembering is key here. The remember net in my head has many gaping holes from 60+ years of never being mended, which allows most of what I try to catch fall thru. Where was I... Ah yes, I remembered hearing several heavy sighs from this guy already, so when he spewed forth another rather loud "pay attention to me" heavy sigh, I said "you heavy sigh a lot." I don't know what his response was, as I continued my rudeness by marching out to the sales floor, but I did hear a gentle giggle follow me thru the double doors. Apparently, my remark amused someone. I no sooner got out to the floor when I remembered I had forgotten to price 2 items I was going to "UP price." This was the third time I had walked to the floor with a rack of merchandise that had an unpriced item or two. Both times prior, customers zeroed in on those items first and wanted an immediate price. My patience with A: me forgetting to price these items and B: my eagle-eyed customers demanding instant service, was wearing thin, so THIS time, the third time, I beat a hasty retreat back thru the double doors with my rack before being accosted by needy customers. Reaching the relative safety of the "back room" I clearly heard another, rather loud, *heavy sigh*. Which I quickly recognized as MY OWN! I looked at my fellow heavy sigher and said " there's my heavy sigh."
How often do we get critical with someone for something we ourselves are guilty?
*HEAVY SIGH*
On with the weather!
We have, according to the NWS:
49° F or 9° C
93% humidity
Mostly Cloudy
Calm Winds
With an expected high of 62° and Rain
I need a WIP- a weather illustration picture! I remembered! Good on me!! Maybe one of the gapping holes in my remember net has been mended!
TO THE PORCH WITH ME!---
Borrrrrringggg.
I'll work on that when I figure out how>
Opened the door, took in a deep breath of 49° air, only to find it 90% filled with exhaust and started hacking up a lung.
Great way to say good morning to the neighbors, eh?
*HEAVY SIGH*
May your first breath of morning air always be fresh and sweetly scented.

Weather Illustration Picture!

It's a weather illustration picture! All day yesterday I tried to remember what a WIP was. Todays weather illustration... hang on. I haven't taken one yet. My sheepish grin made a brief appearance. Must get phone and go take one!

Hey! It's October Oneth! Already! I shouldn't wish my life away since I have so little left standing before me, but what a crappy year. I hope that next year is better. I wish my hope was a confident one. I just need to be ready to deal with what comes.
May you have the skills to handle anything life throws at you. And believe me, Life will throw a great deal at you. I remember Frost's poem called "A Question." My answer is, No. It's not too much to pay. Regardless of how many soul and body scars I own and carry, or how heavy a burden they may be,
Life is worth it.
Always.

Starting Out Good

I must say this morning is starting out good. No spiders in my shower, no drain flies at all (I remembered to cover all my drains), no dead fly floating in my coffee and no spiders waiting for me on the Front Porch. Yep. The morning is starting out good.
The weather report is all I have time for. Currently we are enjoying
Fog/Mist - third day inna row.
96% humidity - that we know changes drastically by afternoon
South winds at 3 mph - also subject to sudden changes
62° F - that would be 17° C
Expected high today is 72° F or 22° C
A ... I used to call them WIP's, I think. But I can't for the life of me remember what that stands for...

I've been doing this for a just a few days now and I'm already bored with the Front Porch weather picture. *heavy sigh*
Got my work cut out for me if I'm gonna make the pics interesting.
May boredom NEVER enter your life, but if it does remember, you're the one that invited it in. It's up to you to decide how long it'll stay.
Live Laugh Love my fellow travelers!

Scalding Coffee

I just burned my tongue, gums, throat and esophagus with a sip of scalding coffee. This is yet another event in life that it is better NOT to learn from experience. It's best to listen to those who have tried it and warn against it. There is zero shame, zero cowardice, in thinking "that sounds like good advice, so I'm not going to do that" and then avoiding the unpleasant experience altogether.
*Humphf*
How's the weather, you ask? Let me consult the oracle that is the NWS...
Well, they have given me a big N/A... what do you mean "Not Available?!?" Someone is napping at the job. I just hafta check the previous hour. :) Alrighty then. Someone has been napping since 5am. The most recent observation was logged in at 4:53.
So at 4:53 this morning the weather was thus:
Southern winds at 5 mph
Overcast skies with Fog/Mist
97% humidity
63°
Since I can step out onto the Front Porch-

I can add the observation that it is raining right now.
I gotta run some errands, so I'm off for now!
May your day be great and full of new things to see read observe hear feel smell taste learn and dream!
Much love to you, my fellow travelers of this most excellent universe.

Grocery Shopping

 Grocery Shopping
The weather first:
currently at 1:40 pm,
The temp is 67°
Winds a variable 5 mph
Humidity 87%
Overcast Skies.
Now as for the grocery shopping:
Since my furlough from work, Baby Sis and I have grocery shopped together every Sunday. I don't dread that particular chore anymore. Sis makes it an outing as opposed to a chore. Anyway, Thanks Sis. You've no idea how much I love Sunday mornings with you. We went to Panera Bread and this morning we both had a Bacon, Scrambled Egg and Tomato Wrap. Oh yeah, we ask that they add avocado. DELICIOUS!!
We have tried one of their sandwiches, and I personally found it to be no better than the breakfast sandwich I have gotten at Wendy's. But the soufflé is my favorite! Their Spinach and Bacon Soufflé is wonderful. I must say that I don't really view it as a true soufflé. Don't matter! I LIKE IT!
Today Sis and I took a bit of a leaf peeping drive. Funny, how I didn't take any pictures of leaves. But I did take this one of the beach.

And this one of the cove:

And the ducks:

And a pic of one of the many rock cairns:

A nice morning...
May all your mornings be nice, my dear travelers.

The Poults Are Growing Up

Good morning.
Currently, at 5:54 am, we are enjoying 56°, Fog/Mist, 96% humidity and calm winds.
Todays forecast calls for morning areas of dense fog, followed by mostly sunny skies, calm to 10 mph winds and a high of 68°. Here is what the Front Porch has to show at 5:51 (pretty sure that's when I took the picture).

Yeah. I hadta turn the porch light on to get anything to show up. Morning pictures might not be an option since I decided to pick autumn to resume this blog... that word and I are at odds. Since I'm stuck on the "sounds like the need to retch" mindset with "blog", I'm going to call my "blog" my retch. Seems very appropriate and just a tad more tactful than referring to it as my verbal diarrhea. Anyway, I'm going to add another picture taken on September 22. A nicer picture to look at.
The poults where I work are getting big!
May all your wildlife encounters be positive ones, may you find immense pleasure in the simplest things life has to offer and remember to
Live Laugh Love, my fellow travelers of this wonderful universe.

Weather is All I Got Time For

Weather is All I Got Time For
I got 5 minutes! And believe me, I cannot accomplish much in that time. Here's a weather pic this morning. At least it's from my Front Porch, right? I mean, that way I don't hafta change the title of this blog.... after all this time the word Blog still sounds like someone retching. :) On to the pic!
The weather auguries say current temp is 58 alt 0176 umm... yer sposta type the numbers whilst holding the alt key :) 58°. they also say we can expect a high of 72° with calm winds and partly sunny skies. Sounds perfect to me.
May your day be perfect for you, whatever a perfect day may be for you.
I'll edit for mistakes tonight or tomorrow.
Later travelers!

Where to begin again...

Hello

I haven't done this with any regularity in so long. I'm unsure how to begin again. The weather is a safe place to start. Let me consult the weather according to the NWS. That being the National Weather Service, just in case a memory needs to be jogged. We had a high of 79... I have to look up how to make the degree symbol again. Hang on... ok, got it. Hold alt and type 0176 and TA-DA! ° there it is. 79° for our high today. Fair skies this morning and mostly cloudy skies this afternoon. No precipitation. Yesterday was pretty similar but the three days before that- BRRRR! The lows were in the 30's. I thought winter had come early.

I suppose I can take an evening picture. The weather pictures will not be what they used to be. My view is, well, lets just say I have no view. But it should suffice for a weather visual.

My porch.
The one that greeted me this morning with a medium sized spider. The same porch that greeted me with a Godzilla sized spider the morning before. It got sprayed this morning. Umm... the porch not the spiders. I shoved the spiders off my porch with my snow shovel and wished them luck as they scurried toward the rear of the building. Yes, I said snow shovel. Really, I thought winter had shown up. My bed is calling me. I'm off to dream land, my dear reader and fellow life traveler.
I hope your dreams are pleasant and your sleep peaceful.
And as always, Live Well, Laugh Often and Love Much.
It's the best way to live.

Corona Virus and Still Nothing To Say

Well, how 'bout that Covid 19 virus? I gotta say, with great enthusiasm, this year has been awful. Spent almost 2 months furloughed from work and under, what amounts to be, house arrest. I did find out that it's gonna take quite a while for cabin fever to knock on my door. I wasn't bored at all. I guess I am more than ready for retirement.
Still, after all this time, I got nuttin'. Quite frankly, I don't think I'll ever have sumpin' again. But there's always the weather.
Currently in our neck of the woods, at 8:32 pm on the 24th of June in the not so wonderful year of 2020, we are enjoying 67° of mist/fog with southern winds of 5 mph. The humidity is coming in at 97% but at least it's not hot or hazy along with it. The Three "H" Weather is NOT one of my favorite ways to spend the day.
I got nuttin' more. Wish I did. With a raging pandemic underway, and events happening that are changing the world drastically, you'd think I'd have plenty to say.
Till next time, live, laugh and love as much as you can. It's still the best way to live.
